Riding Lessons

Double Lane Horsemanship's Riding Lesson program offers riding lessons to students of all ages and levels, specializing in Hunter Jumpers along with Traditional and Western Dressage. Using the fundamentals of dressage, Double Lane Horsemanship helps their students reach their full potential in the partnership and connection with their horse. Double Lane horsemanship has several safe lesson horses available or we offer the option to haul-in for lessons at no extra charge. Have your own facility? We can come to you!

Head Instructor, Michaela Lane-Vorwerk, is patient with her students and strives to help her students achieve their goals, whether it’s in the show ring or just the pleasure of riding. Michaela has years of experience in the hunter jumper ring and is a Professional Member of North American Western Dressage. Michaela has earned her Intro Level Coaching Star and 6 Feet on the Ground Judging License through NAWD.

Riding is offered year round at Western Trails Equestrian Center LLC. WTEC has a beautiful new indoor arena that is very well insulated, keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We also have a large outdoor arena for those nice Wisconsin days. Plus a heated/air conditioned viewing room for the parents to watch the lesson!
